Testimonials for the BULL-MIXA |
Testimonial 1: David Hollingsworth - Carmila, South of Mackay.
It makes concrete mixing a one man job,The Bull Mixa incorporates scales with a readout in the cab, and once I've worked out the proportions I need for a particular mix, I fill the Mixa in two stages. Half the metal and sand, then I put in the cement and then fill the rest before putting in the water.
Being paid by the post and the Bull Mixa has enable me, by myself, to concrete in more than 30 posts a day, compared to 10 or 11 when I using a conventional hand loaded cement mixer.
Apart from the speed and lack of manpower needed to load the Mixa, emptying it is even simpler. It is just a matter of tipping the concrete out, like emptying a glass of water, and as that can be done while it is still agitating, the mix is always uniform.
But the good news doesn't stop there, being in front of the operator rather than behind on a three point linkage machine, makes it very easy to use and on the skid steer loader it is very manoeuvrable. I can lift it fully over the cab and turn the machine around in its own length.
It's also handy to be able to empty it three metres up in the air. That makes it easy to concrete the top loading ramp of a double system or by putting a funnel in the top of a pipe post, fill it without having to lift the concrete by hand in 20 litre buckets.
A typical set of cattle yards has 200 posts, that’s a lot of time saved and I estimate the Mixa paid for itself in the first two weeks.
Testimonial 2 JC & LP Sullivan - Mount Coolon Station.
A well thoughtout robust design. The drive loading feature and self unloading capability elimate the back breaking effort previously required for cementing. The Agitating spirals make cleaning up quick and easy.
